Betsy's Visit

Our dear friend Betsy visited us this weekend. She took the train (how cool is that!) in on Friday night and left early (like, hours before the sun comes up early) Monday morning. We spent Saturday shopping until we could hardly stand, and then went to dinner at Happy Sumo. Sunday was spent relaxing, eating and of course, playing games!! Both Jason and Betsy are skilled Scrabble sharks and it was fun to watch them go head-to-head. Jason won, Betsy came in second and I came trailing behind in last place with 146 points.

How am I supposed to win with nothing but vowels! (or if you're the lady on "Are you Smarter Than a Fifth Grader," vouls.)

I still can't believe how bad Jason beat me. All weekend too! I hate playing games with Jason. He smells funny. :)

I really like that you took a picture of your letters. Hah! I bet Jason sabotaged you while you weren't looking.

Scrabble always reminds me of Grandma Leffue. She loved that game and we played it so much with her!! Do you remember Jason? Do you remember her saying that she loved you ever since you were a little boy? She was so sweet!!

You must get your scrabble skills from Grandma Leffue! You and Jessie are the cutest newlyweds, love checking on your blog to see what you are up to.

Fun, fun, fun!!! I'm not surprised that Jason won though....he's very competitive and smart!( A deadly combination) I remember telling him once how fast I was able to win a game of computer solitaire and he called the next day with a score that beat my "unbeatable" score. He's fast too!

Way to show off that Evans superiority gene that we have. Keep up the good work and remember that it isn't your fault that we don't have a humility gene.
