Christmas Sunday

I really like Christmas and all the traditions it holds, both old and new. One tradition we like doing is on the Sunday before Christmas, we all open a gift and inside is our "Christmas Sunday" clothes. We then get dressed and take pictures by the tree. And then, of course, are late to church (oops!).

Visiting Santa

Despite running enthusiastically towards the jolly man in the red suit, Clayton had zero desire to step foot near him. And sitting on his lap? Not a chance.

Giving Thanks

It's past time to dust off this long-neglected blog of mine. I've been putting it off because I wanted to catch up and blog all the wonderful happenings between my last post and now - the highlight being the beautiful baby boy that was born two days after my last post - but happenings kept happening and blogging didn't. So I decided that I would start now with what's current, and perhaps do some "flashback" posts later.

I have many fond Thanksgiving memories. It is one of my favorite holidays and this year is at the top of the list of "favorite Thanksgivings." Jason's parents and sister were able to come in from Arizona, and Matt and Jana came down from Salt Lake. We cooked together and made the most delicious meal, and had an even better time eating the delicious meal. I am so grateful for such wonderful in-laws.

Easter Festivities

Almost daily Jason and I talk about how amazing it is that we were able to find the perfect home for our family in the perfect neighborhood for our kids. Every year we get together and do an Easter egg hunt for all the kids and it's the highlight of the day. We love all these little rascals so much!

Update for those who are wondering, baby Evans is coming Tuesday morning! (unless he/she decides to make his/her debut sooner …)
