Ahlmann Family
This cute family was so much fun to work with. I got to know Nicolle and her daughter Kennedy this summer as we both spent a lot of time lounging at my parents swimming pool, so it was fun to see them again. For (a lot!) more pictures, visit the blog.
Also, my fall family portrait special has been extended through November, so if you want your family pictures taken ... now is the time!

Need your help!
Jason and I have a lot of exciting things going on in our lives right now, but unfortunately it's kept us pretty busy and leaving me little time to blog about the happenings. Also, I don't want to jinx anything by speaking too soon. So you're all just going to have to wait. But one of the new things is, I have a job. I've been working at Jason's office as a receptionist. I'm filling in for four weeks until they find and train someone permanent. It's a great job opportunity, but Jason and I both agreed that we'd rather have me work on growing my photography business than answering phones (and running around a million miles an hour trying to get everything done) all day. And speaking of photography, I had Brittany take my picture for my Web site (to be launched soon!) and I need your help. I've posted my top pics over at my photography blog, go and vote!

Blue Skies
The other day Jason was on his way to work when he called me and told me I needed to take my camera outside and take pictures of the clouds. So I did.
Also, I saw a sign the other day that made me laugh. They've been doing road construction on the main road near our house for about ... a century? Every time I go anywhere, I have to find a new route due to the whole shenanigans. So the other day I'm driving home from my parents house and as I approach said road, I see an electronic sign flashing "Road construction ahead" then "Lane closures daily" and then "Have a great day!" Really? Have a great day? Shouldn't it read "Have a great day trying to navigate your way throught this maze we've created, and good luck explaining to your boss why you're late to work every single day since it doesn't seam reasonable that we would block off every known road leading to and from your house as we re-pave all the side streets while we tear up the main one. They'll probably just think you're making it up. You might as well tell them your invisible dog ate your expense report while you're at it!"

It reminds me of the Always maxi-pad campaign telling women to "Have a happy period."
