Six Weeks

I can't believe we've already hit the six-week mark, time is speeding by too fast. I am loving every single second of being this little guy's mama. According to the books we've read, peak fussiness hits between 6 and 8 weeks. I wouldn't say Clayton is fussy, but I would say he's starting to exercise his vocal cords a little more.

We like to call him "Mr. Smiley Pants"

Check out that male-pattern baldness ... I love it.

I've had a lot of people tell me my two children look nothing alike. I used to readily agree ... but after I pulled out Norah's six-week pictures, I'm not so sure:

What do you think?

More summer fun

We really love when family comes to visit, because then we have a really good excuse to go out and have fun! When my in-laws came to visit, we also went to Provo Beach Resort (where we also happen to have a pass) and played around there for the day. Then in the evening we drove up to beautiful Sundance and ate a fun picnic meal from their deli.

I wasn't able to get as many pictures as I would have liked of everyone enjoying the fun activities at Provo Beach Resort because Clayton decided to have a huge diaper blowout all over Stacey ... then once we got him all cleaned up and changed, he was starving so I fed him. Then he spit up. Twice. On two different outfits. So Stacey and I spent a crazy amount of time in the bathroom cleaning ourselves and my little stinker.

I was wearing a skirt and opened-toe shoes, both not rope course friendly :) But Jason, Tom, Carys and Madison had a great time!

Norah really loves the carousel:

So does Madison!

Fun Family Time

It's no secret we love Thanksgiving Point, and we'll readily tell anyone who asks (and even those who don't) that the purchase of a membership is one of the best purchases we've made. When my awesome in-laws came into town this week, one of the places we knew we'd have to visit was the Thanksgiving Point Children's Garden (because last time they came, we did Farm Country. See, we love this place!)

We are a Happy Family

I love to sing the Happy Family song to Norah, and it made me so happy the other day when I caught my sweet girl singing, "Love Dadda, love Mama, Love Kakon (Clayton) HAPPY FAMILY!" And it's true, we are so very happy with our new addition ... and how could we not be? This little guy is the sweetest thing around and has completely stolen all our hearts.

A huge thank you to Jen Herem for doing such a fabulous job with these pictures. She truly is a baby whisperer and could get Clayton to sleep and do anything for these pictures. I know first-hand how hard it is to get babies to look perfect for pictures, and she is a master. I highly recommend her for anyone needing photos of their newborns.

Nice face Norah ...

This little girl really does love her brother so much

Now the problem is deciding which ones to enlarge and display all over my walls!
